Mrs. Ola Bowman, age 98 of Speedwell, TN passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was born to Wiley Crockett and Nellie Cowan Liford on July 13, 1923, in Straight Creek, KY. She was a long-time and faithful member of Well Springs Methodist Church and was retired from Imperial Reading where she worked for many years. She had many hobbies and interests but thoroughly enjoyed gardening, quilting, traveling, and a good card game with her Siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Ralph L. Bowman, Grandsons, Gary L. White and John Scott Patterson, Brothers, Henry, Willis, Neal, and Joseph, Sisters, Edna Liford Minton, Jennie Merldine ”Mert” Stokes, Jessie Geraldine “Gerry” Bargo, and Willie Jean “Billie” Brantley.
She is survived by her Daughter, Gwen White Patterson and Husband, Johnny; Son, Edward L. Bowman and Wife, Mary; Granddaughters, Tammy White Raby and Husband, Terry, Stephanie Patterson Brown and Husband, Brandon, and Christina Howell, and Husband, Logan; Six Great-Grandchildren; One surviving Sister, Evelyn Burke of Kokomo, Indiana along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, and many other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Hampson and Rev. Steve Elkins officiating. Interment to follow at Beeler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday before funeral services.
