Mr. Kyle Kenton “Ken” Hicks, age 78 of LaFollette passed away Friday, April 22, 2022. Ken was a well known Homebuilder, Family Farmer, and Educator, having served 20 years with the Campbell County School System. He was also a 50+ year Member of Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778, F. & A.M., The true joy of Ken’s life was being with his family, especially his Grandchildren, Katie, Olivia, and Kyle, and Great-Grandchildren, Charlie and Ella. Preceded in death by Parents, David and Nancy Scott Hicks, Brothers, Jesse, James, Oscar, John, George, Jerry, and David Hicks, Sisters, Lucinda Vermillion Wright, Elizabeth Hicks, Juila Randall, and Virgie Klein.
Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Mrs. Janice Miracle Hicks, Daughters, Beth Hicks Young and Husband, Andy and Tracy Hicks Lobertini; Grandchildren, Katie Young Tidwell and Husband, Tyler, Olivia Lobertini, and Kyle Young and Wife, Saarah; Great-Grandchildren, Charlie and Ella Tidwell; Sister, Sarah Helen Brown and Husband, James; Great friends, Roger Davis, David Herrin, Jimmy Pierce, Hugh Spradlin, Matthew Housley, and Rob Hall. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services and Masonic Rites will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at LaFollette United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Hampson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services in the Church Fellowship Hall. Family and Friends will meet Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 10:00 A.M. at Hicks Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.
