Our favorite memories of Mom

Her allowing me to have a piece of hot fresh baked cake before the icing was put on it.

Her blackberry pie

The love and excitement she expressed for people when seeing and talking to them.

The kisses she blew

Her always saying my nose was cold when I kissed her check.  Then pointing at her cheek for another kiss when I acted like I shouldn’t have kissed her.

Her blow, eye roll and chin in the air face while trying not to smile.

Making miniature biscuits out of leftover dough.

Making snow cream from fresh snow.

Decorating the Christmas tree with pocorn garland and sugar cookies one year.

She would ask me how much I loved her and I would stretch out my arms really wide and say “a whole big bunch”
