Wanda Violet Oakes

Mrs. Wanda Violet Oakes age 85 of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017.  She was a member of Tannery Hollow Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by Husband, Charles E. Violet, Grandson, David M. Welch, and Parents Clarence Ray Baird and Selma Irene Simms Baird.

Survivors:  Daughters, Anita Welch and Patricia Coffey; 6 Grandchildren; Several Great-Grandchildren; Several Great-Great Granchildren; Several Great-Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother Robert, Odele Baird.  Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Allen officiating.  Family and friends will meet Friday 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment.   Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
