Viola Lasure

Viola Lasure, age 81 of Caryville passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born on September 8, 1943 to the late Nancy and Luther Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Darlene Herron, infant granddaughter, Kayahnna Gaylor, sister Willa Pollard, and brothers, Frank and Joseph Jones.

She is survived by sons, Ronnie Gaylor, and Eddie Gaylor (Kaula Clark); daughter, Susie Perry (Bruce); grandchildren, Adam, Zachery, Cherysh, Austin, Ryeanna, Brittany, and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Khalessi, Alynna, Jeremiah, and Noah; sisters, Mary Ivey and Betty Self; brother, Matthew Jones. Several other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to UT Hospice Care for their care and concern in our mothers last days. Also, a thank you to nurse Buffie, nurse aide Olivia, nurse Autumn, Chaplain Ben, and social worker Adam.

No formal services will be held. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Viola Lasure.
