Sterling Ewing Marlar

Mr. Sterling Ewing Marlar age 71 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018.  He was of the Baptist Faith.  He worked for Brown Motor Company for 18 years, and Owner and Operator of Marlar Garage for 35 years.  Preceded in death by Father and Mother, Carden and Mildred Riggs, Brothers and Sisters, Jimmy Riggs, Vera Lynn Gross, Chestine Riggs, and Kathy Folkersinger.

Survived by Wife of 46 years, Helen Sue Byrd Marlar; Nephews, Robert Nathaniel Byrd, Ronnie Byrd, Travis Stanley, and Pedia Powers; Niece, Jeanette Powers, and many friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Sampson Ridenour officiating.  Family and friends will meet Wednesday 12:00 P.M. at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Scott County, TN for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
