Rev. Ronnie Arnold , loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Pastor, and Friend transitioned from this Earthly Home to his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rev. Arnold was the longtime Pastor of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, beginning his Family’s ministry in LaFollette and the surrounding areas in 1989. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Tennessee and Masters of Divinity from Mid-America Seminary, and during his time there, Pastored Gilmore Baptist Church Mission in Gilmore, AK. Preceded in death by Parents, Dana B. and Faye Heatherly Arnold, and Fellow Brother in Christ, Marshall Rasnake.
Survivors: Wife of 46 years, Kathy Arnold; Daughters, Amanda Kathleen Campbell and husband, Jeff, Dr. Katie Lane Arnold, and Allison Faye Morris and husband, Joe; Son, Troy Burton Arnold, and wife, Jamie; Grandchildren, Clark Lawson, Emma Kate Lawson, Madi Jane Morris, Laney Ann Arnold, and Harrison Troy Arnold; Sister, Dana Faye Bell and husband, Larry; Brother, Terry Arnold and wife, Donna. Devoted extended Family Member, Jane Rasnake. Several Nieces, Nephews, and loving Cedar Hill Baptist Church Family.
A Celebration of Rev. Arnold’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021, 7:00 P.M. at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Wonderful Friend and Father in the Ministry, Rev. Charlie Grigsby and Rev. Bryan Burge officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday before Funeral Services at the church. Family and friends will meet Monday, January 4, 2021, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Cedar Hill Baptist Church Deacon’s Benevolence Fund, 622 Demory Road, LaFollette, TN 37766.
