Ray Charles Hamblin , passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at home surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 18, 1967, in Jellico, TN Hospital to Mary Elizabeth Malicoat Hamblin and Otheral Hamblin. In addition to his Parents, he is preceded in death by Brothers, Bobby Carl, Doodle Lee, and Scotty Hamblin, and Sister, Lynn Almeta Hamblin Brooks.
Survivors: Wife, Sheila Hamblin; Daughters, Jessica Treadway and Bill Treadway, and Tiera Bollinger and Luke Bollinger (Amber Pigg); Stepson, Brian Brim; 10 Grandchildren, Vanessa, Jasemine and Kyle Tredway, Bo, Blaise and Mia Bollinger, Adrianna and Terry Cox, and Alexis and “G” Dimri; One Great-Granddaughter, Amila Dimri; Brother, Ralph Otheral Hamblin; Sisters, Olcie Jean Marlow, Rose Marie Ellison, Dee Louvaine Wigton, and Ida and Husband, Bill Brown; Brother from another Mother, Jr. Sharp (My Ride or Die, I Just Had To Go First! I’ll Be Waiting For You Brother!!). Special Uncles, Berlin Malicoat and Robert Sharp; Special Niece, Samantha Brown; Closest Long Time Friends, Steve Slover, Ray Wallace, David Goins, Jim Mynatt, Greg Comer, Jeff Maddison, and Allen Goins. Several other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Monday, May 9, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Orick officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday before services.
