Oveda Heatherly

Mrs. Oveda Heatherly , born December 24, 1933, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017.  Oveda was saved by God’s grace at a young age at Mount Paran Baptist Church and was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.  She loved to sing in the church choir.  She was a dedicated volunteer at Tennova Residential Hospice in Knoxville, TN.  She was preceded in death by Husband of 50 years, J. Marshall Heatherly, Parents, Andy and Rose Ellison, Father and Mother-in-law, J. W. and Lee Heatherly.

Survivors:  Son, James M. Heatherly and wife, Carol; Daughters, Margaret Smith and Ann Rangel; Grandchildren; Monica Burgan and husband Curt, Sara Lloyd and husband Zach, Kyra Herrin and husband Cobie, Casey Burns and husband Chris, Taylor Smith, Chris Cantu, and Isabella Rangel; Great Grandchildren, Maggie Herrin, Henley Dorsey, Lily Lloyd, Allie Herrin, Avery Burgan, Titus Marshall Lloyd, Camden Burns, Avery Cantu, and Emma Cantu.  Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Wednesday 6 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Zach Lloyd officiating.  Interment to follow at Bakers Forge Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M. Wednesday before funeral services.  Pallbearers; Chris Burns, Cobie Herrin, Curt Burgan, Kevin Dagley, Chris Cantu, and Kevin Wright.
