Magalena (Maggie) Prater Sharp

Mrs. Magalena (Maggie) Prater Sharp age 92 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018.  She was a member of LaFollette First Baptist Church.  Maggie worked at the LaFollette Press for over 25 years for Guy Easterly.  She loved working in her garden and taking care of her flowers.  Preceded in death her Parents, Joseph and Nancy Wright Prater; her Beloved Husband, Ralph Sharp, Jr. whom she was married to for 49 years before his passing in 1995; Brothers, Frank, Albert, Ulis, Charles, and Chester; Sisters, Martha Robbins and Reva Prater; Nephew, Jerry Prater.

She is survived by very special and beloved niece, and caregiver, Gloria Jean (Jeannie) Prater of LaFollette, Great-nephews, Jerry Prater Jr. of North Carolina, Joey Prater of Florida, Great-niece, Nancy Miller of North Carolina.

Funeral Services Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.  Family and friends will meet Wednesday 10 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
