Mabel Gibson

Mrs. Mabel Gibson , age 75 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017.  She was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by Husband, David Gibson, Parents, Earl C. and Arlena Ramsey Blackwell, Brother, Louie Blackwell.

Survivors:  Daughters, Loretta Cordell and husband, Paul, Rhonda Heatherly and husband, Rick, and Teresa Thorman and husband, Paul; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Sadie Marie Ijames, Ruby Bratcher, and Mary Boshears; Brothers, Roy Blackwell, William Blackwell, Robert Blackwell, and Joe L. Blackwell.  Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service Tuesday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Thomas officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
