Lyndon "Super" Vinsant

Mr. Lyndon Vinsant, known to most as “Super”, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the age of 74. He attended Shield of Faith Church and was a home builder and electrician in the area for many years. “Super” had many hobbies, but enjoyed fishing and playing basketball the most. He is preceded in death by step-daughter, Faith Nicole Evans, parents, Eugene and Lily (Green) Vinsant, and sisters, Donna Vinsant and Carolyn Lawson.

He is survived by daughters, April Vinsant (Ted Halgash), Stacy Vinsant (Justin Webb), and Tracy Perry (Jeff); son, Riley Adkins; grandchildren, Brooklyn Deshea Vinsant, Conner Perry, Hunter Vinsant, Dalton Vinsant, and Gannon Vinsant; former spouse and companion, Phyllis Evans; brother, Laverne Vinsant; sisters, Thelma Crabtree and Treena Pierce; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jeff Moser and Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating. Family and friends will meet on Friday, June 20, 2025, 10:00 AM at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Mt. Zion Cemetery for 11:00 AM Graveside Services and Interment.
