Mrs. Lena Connor, age 85 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. Lena was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, and most importantly, “Mamaw” to her Grandchildren. She was a Member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Lena owned and operated Fashion Fabrics in Jacksboro for many years, and along with her Husband, Jimmy, owned and operated Twin Cove Marine Sales. Preceded in death by Parents, Vesta Beulah and LeRoy James Goins, Infant Brother, James Thomas Goins, Sisters, Martha Nell Kinsey, Theda Jewell Ostrander, Sarah Pearl Wilburn, and Lela Ruth Jennings, Brothers, Dan Goins, Paul Goins, Doyle Goins, Franklin Dee Goins, and Etna Goins.
Survivors: Husband of 65 years, Jimmy Connor; Son, Kevin Connor and Wife, Janet; Daughters, Kelly Baird and Husband, Roger, and Kim Cotton and Husband, James; Grandchildren, Justin Connor and Fiancé, Jessica Schiwitz, Jacob Cotton, Hannah Cotton, and Connor Baird and Fiancé, Madison; Brother, J.C. Goins; Special Niece and Nephews, Cassie Wilson and Husband, Mike, David Bryant, and Jonathan Bryant and Wife, Pam; Special friend of the family, Ervin Campbell. Funeral Services Monday, November 29, 7:00 P.M. at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Burge and Rev. Larry Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Monday before funeral services. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 10:30 A.M. at Waters Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 11:00 A.M.
