Kelvin Gerald Monday

Kelvin Gerald Monday, age 51 of the Well Springs Community, Speedwell passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center after an 18 month battle with cancer.

He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, a member of the IBEW Local 760, and for 24 years he operated LaFollette Equipment Rental.

His greatest enjoyments in life were the game of baseball, living in the Powell Valley, and telling his entertaining stories.  He was preceded in death by his

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Susan Lane Monday

Funeral Services will be 8 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Arnold and Bro. Jerry Dagley officiating.  Family and friends will meet Thursday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Fincastle United Methodist Church Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday before Funeral Services at the Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Campbell County Cancer Association, P. O.
