John Leroy O'Connell

Mr. John Leroy O’Connell, Jr . age 63 of LaFollette passed away Monday, March 7, 2016.  He was born August 2, 1952 in Crescent City, CA.  Mr. O’Connell was raised in Las Vegas, NV, and was Past President of Las Vegas Jaycees.  He was a loving Husband and Father.  He loved spending time with his Wife, Vera, and his Dog, Sassy.  He enjoyed fishing and the beach.  Preceded in death by Parents, John O’Connell, Sr. and Gloria Franks O’Connell.

Survivors:  Wife, Vera O’Connell; Two Children, Staci Ferguson and Gina Austin; Two Step-Daughters, Liza Jeffries and husband, Jimmy and Anya Wright and husband, Kevin; One Stepson, Eric Krzeminski; Grandchildren, Brody, Elijah, Allie, Shade, Mattie, Steven, Ethan and Tori; One Sister, Karen Matthews.  Several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Thursday at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment with Rev.
