Joe Hooper, Sr.

Mr. Joe Hooper, Sr., age 69, of LaFollette, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He attended United Pentecostal Church International, loved God, and his family. He was a simple man who enjoyed singing, music, and playing pool. Joe loved fishing and being on Norris Lake, which he called his “happy place”. He is preceded in death by Parents, Ben Hugh Hooper and Doris Nadine (Whitman) Hooper, sisters, Joyce Fears and Regina Keating.

He is survived by his children, Joey Hooper, JoAnne Pettus (David), and T. J. Hooper (Melanie); 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Singleterry; 1 niece and 3 nephews. Several other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held in Auburndale, FL at a later date. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Joe Hooper.
