Mr. Jimmy (Jim) Connor, age 89 of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and dearly loved the Lord. In April 1976, he started Twin Cove Boat Dock where he operated until the early 1990’s. He was also the founder and owner/operator of Twin Cove Marine Sales from April 1985 through September 2014. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing, being with his grandchildren, and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lena Goins Connor, parents, Charles Herbert and Dora Ellen (Surber) Connor, and sister, Cuma Bryant.

He is survived by son, Kevin Connor and wife, Janet; daughters, Kelly Baird and husband, Roger, and Kim Cotton and husband, James; grandchildren, Justin Connor and wife, Jessica, Jacob Cotton, Hannah Cotton and fiancé, Joseph Paul, and Connor Baird and wife, Madison; 2 precious great-grandchildren, Magnolia Baird and Cameron Connor; brother, Tom Connor; sister, Nina Robertson; special brother-in-law, Rev. Larry Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of LaFollette Court Assisted Living and Amedisys Hospice.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cedar Hill Baptist Church (636 Demory Road, LaFollette, TN 37766). Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Bryan Burge and Rev. Mark Braden officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
