Mrs. Jewell (Russell) Jones, age 82, of LaFollette passed away at her home on Monday, February 23, 2026. Mrs. Russell was a devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Glenn E. Jones, parents, Clifford and Tennessee (Nelson) Russell, brothers, Lester and Dallas Russell, and sister-in-law, Dolly Russell.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Vinsant and husband, Troy; son, Russell Jones and wife, April; granddaughter, Mary Beth Seiber and husband, Tim; great-grandchildren, Mason and Claire Seiber; sisters-in-law, Anna Russell, Annette Jones, and Andria Jones; long-time friends, Jo and George Rutherford; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Mrs. Jones caregivers Charlene Campbell, Anna Ellison, and Phoebe Herron.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Reynolds and Bro. Danny Russell officiating officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Jewell (Russell) Jones.
