Mrs. Evelyn Bernice Baird Huddleston, age 82 of the White Oak Community passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. She was a member of White Oak Church of God, and was formerly employed with Imperial Reading Corporation in LaFollette. Evelyn dearly loved flower gardening, scrapbooking, and adored any time spent with her family. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Baird, Jr. in 1987, second husband, John Luther Huddleston in 2022, son, Eddie Dwayne “Rosie” Baird, sister, Wilma Jean Kitts, and nephew, Donnie Kitts.

She is survived by her sons, James Darren Baird, Sr. and Dean Scott Baird, Sr.; daughter, Tamitha Muse and husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Kelsey Simms (Nicholas), Kaitlynn Burton (Riley), Amanda Kay Baird, James Darren Baird, Jr., Dean Scott Baird, Jr., Dana Brooke Baird, Dane Baird, Paula Elizabeth McCreary, Christan Tyler Muse; numerous great-grandchildren; special nieces, Lisa Asbury and Janet Kitts.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Serviced will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Warren Marlowe officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery in the White Oak Community. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Evelyn Bernice Baird Huddleston.
