Mr. David Alexander Carr born in Campbell County on January 8, 1943, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016, after a long illness.  David attended LaFollette High School and the University of Tennessee, and worked as an Architect until illness forced him to retire.  David loved UT football and basketball, and attended most games with special cousin and friend, Gene Carr.  Preceded in death by Parents, Delmar Carr and Ora Smith Carr, Grandparents, Charles and Bessie Carr and Alex and Reba Smith.

Survivors:  Brother, Phil Carr and wife, Diane; Sister, Pat Linkous and husband, David; Nephews, Matt Carr and wife, Shannon and Andy Carr and wife, Meghan; Great Nieces and Nephews, Libby, Bella, Tyler, Sullivan, and Ellanore.  Several Cousins and their families, other relatives, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P. M. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at  6 P.M. with Rev. Steve Evans officiating.  The family will meet Sunday 2 P.M. for private graveside services and interment.  Online condolences for Mr. Carr may be made at www.waltersfuneralhome.net.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. David Alexander Carr.
