Charles Michael "Mike" Ridenour

Mr. Charles Michael “Mike” Ridenour born November 22, 1954, of LaFollette passed away September 12, 2016, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  He was a retired Educator in the Campbell County School System and had served as an Educator for over 21 years, and was a tool maker for 19 years.  He was a member of Stooksbury Masonic Lodge # 602 F.&A.M., Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, a Shriner, member of Kerbella Temple, Campbell County Scottish Rite Club, and was a Board Member of Professional Educators of TN.  He was a member of Lakeside Community Church in St. Clair Shores, MI.  Preceded in death by Mother and Father, Lorna and Charles Ridenour.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Sharon Ridenour; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Charlotte and Gary Rutkowski; Nephews and Spouses, Jared and Kristyn Rutkowski, Justin and Colleen Rutkowski, and Joey Rutkowski; Great Nephew, Charlie Ryan Rutkowski; Special Aunts, Oneida Gossage and Mary Meredith; Cousin, Bo Heatherly, who was like a brother.  Many more special uncles, aunts, and cousins.   Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law, Carol and Dick Matheson, and niece, Christy Axford and husband, Kai, and great niece, Karis and great nephew, Brayden; Sister-in-Law, Joyce Butner, and nephew Kelly Munsey.   Several other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services Friday 8 P.M. at LaFollette United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Stanfield officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 P.M. Friday at the church with Masonic Rites at 7:45 P.M. conducted by Stooksbury Masonic Lodge # 602 F.&A.M.  The family and friends will meet Saturday 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Campbell County Cancer Association, P. O.
