Mr. Charles Edward “Bud” Harrison, age 87, of Speedwell passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Bud earned a living as a construction worker and farmer before retiring. A true friend to all, he tilled the earth and shared the rich bounty of his gardens with his neighbors. He was a devoted family man, leaving behind his beloved wife of 57 years of marriage, Mary. He was a proud father to his children: Jerry Edward Harrison (deceased), Larry Wayne Harrison (deceased), and Amy and Troy Reed. He cherished his granddaughter, Lydia Rayanna Reed. He handed down a rich heritage of love, kindness, and dedication that will live on through all who knew him.
Survivors: Wife, Mary Ann (Jackson) Harrison; Children: Amy and Troy Reed; Granddaughter: Lydia Rayanna Reed; Brother-in-Law: John Jackson; Sister-in-Law: Judy Jackson; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by twin sons, Jerry Edward Harrison and Larry Wayne Harrison; parents, Oakie and Hester (Owens) Harrison; sister Bonnie Lou Harrison.

Family and friends will meet at Walters Funeral Home on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. and proceed to Ausmus Cemetery, Speedwell, TN for a 3:00 P.M. Graveside Service with Elder Glen Davis and Elder Larry Anderson officiating. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Charles Edward “Bud” Harrison.
