Calvin S. Wilson

Mr. Calvin S. Wilson age 79 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022.  Calvin had a great love for fishing and cooking.  Calvin retired as a Security Guard at the Alex Haley Farm and Museum, a job he was so proud of.  He was a good friend to all who knew him.  Preceded in death by Parents, Clayton and Anna Parrott Wilson, Step-Mother, Ruth Wilson, Wife, Lucille McNeeley Wilson, Daughter, Janice Lloyd, Grandson, Jason Lloyd, Brothers, Ronnie and George Wilson, Sisters, Artella Bolton and Viola Goodman.

Survivors:  Proud Grandpa of Jayden and Ayden Lloyd; Sister-in-law and caregiver, Von Wilson; Nieces and care givers, Shanna and Shonda Monday; Good Friend and Neighbor, Josie McNeeley.

At Calvin’s request he will have a Private Graveside Service and Interment to be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at C.B. Wilson Cemetery.  With great appreciation to Walters Funeral Home for going beyond their duty for our needs.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Calvin Wilson.
