Brenda Braden

Mrs. Brenda C. Braden of LaFollette, TN, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away March 8, 2016 at the age of 71. Brenda received degrees from the University of Tennessee and Lincoln Memorial University. She retired as a special education teacher at Campbell County High School where she taught for over thirty years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in LaFollette. Known for her kindness and generosity, Brenda was loved by family, students, and innumerable friends. She will be greatly missed.  Preceded in death by parents, Robert Blaine and Reba King Coulter, and brother, R. B. Coulter.

She is survived by her husband Odie Braden; her three daughters and sons-in-law Pamela and Richard McCrary, Sharon and Brent Shumaker, and Teresa and Ben Walker; her grandsons Jesse and Brendan McCrary; and granddaughters Britton and Julia Shumaker, and step-sister, Jean Hays.

The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Saturday at Walters Funeral Home in LaFollette, TN.  Graveside services and Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Children’s Program (P.O.
