Austin Dakota "Cody" Helton

Austin Dakota “Cody” Helton age 16 of LaFollette passed away Friday, June 2, 2017.  He was a Junior student at Campbell County High School, Cadet Corporal and Member of Junior ROTC, and employed by Zaxby’s Restaurant.  Preceded in death by Mother, Crystal Ray, Grandparents, Jesse Burwell, Sr., Mary Walker, Ronald Steakley, Great Grandfather, Peony Ridenour.

Survivors:  Parents, Jesse and Rhonda Burwell; Sisters, Tiffany Ray, Brianna Towe and husband, David, Tiffany Whitt and husband, Alex; Brothers, Tracy Ray, Jr. and wife, Holly, Anthony Ray, Derick Burwell and wife, Jennifer, Jesse Burwell, and Connor Ray; Grandmothers, Marilyn Steakley and Debbie Burwell; Great Grandmother, Lois Ridenour; Special friend, Gracie Yohey.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Monday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating.   Family and friends will meet Tuesday 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Davis Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 P.M. before services at Walters Funeral Home.  Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help with expenses.  Online condolences for Cody may be made at www.waltersfuneralhome.net.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Austin Dakota “Cody” Helton.
