Arkie Brown

Mrs. Arkie Marie Brown , age 84 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021.  She attended Fincastle United Methodist Church for many years, and was employed with LaFollette Medical Center for 35 years, where she began as a Housekeeper and worked all the way up to Director of Environmental Services.  Arkie enjoyed being active in the Community, including the Best of Times LaFollette High School Reunion and Campbell County Relay for Life.  Arkie was the third oldest of 12 McCulley children.  Preceded in death by Husband, James Verlin Brown, Parents, Verlin and Virgie Farris McCulley, and three Brothers.

Survivors:  Daughter, Mary Helen Carroll; Grandson, James M. Carroll, III; Sisters, Minnie Thompson, Wilma Coil, Mollie Ivey, Dollie Snyder, Bonnie Riggs, Nancy Glenn, Billie Anne Bolton, and Mary Lee Hicks.  Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great Nephews, other relatives and friends.
