Mr. Davis was one of the greatest teachers to have ever lived. I will never forget his class or his quirky lines like “a poet and didn’t know it”. Thank you for your service and all of the kids you touched coach.

Coach Davis came into my life at Ridgewood Elementary School. His love for students and sports and his encouragement in what seem towards only me change my life. I went from very withdrawn to very outgoing from barely being able to dribble a basketball to a very good basketball player and softball. He bought me my very first pair of converse, often drove me home if we had late games and was always ready to talk with me if I was trouble. He was a gentleman and a scholar. His influence cause me to want to succeed for myself and help others. RIP coach forever in my heart.

I'm so sad to hear this. Coach was one the greatest men I have ever met and one of themost caring people to ever exist. It didn't matter who you were, he made you his and the world one of the few truly good people to ever exist. My heart hurts knowing that he has left us. Welove you Coach!

Benny was an awesome person! He was loved by so many for his kind hearted gestures and just all-around personality that lit up the room! I will miss him dearly! He is buried in the same cemetary as my mom, dad and an assortment of relatives. I will visit you often Benny. Love you bunches, you are definitely one of a kind! Rest In Peace!
